APENO continues to invest in the formation of Wine and Wine Tourism

After the success of the first edition of the Post Graduation (PG) of Wine and Wine Tourism, the Portuguese Association of Wine Tourism will maintain collaboration with the academic world.

PG was born last year and is the result of a partnership between the Portuguese Association of Ecotourism (APENO), the Lusophone University and IPLUSO/ESCAD and, as last year, will be taught through face-to-face classes and in b-learning.
Wine tourism is a fundamental tourist product for the development of wine regions and the entire wine-related industry. The PG course in Wine and Wine Tourism offers a program that covers the world of wine as a whole, from oenology to sensory analysis of wines from each region, as well as their typicality. To complement the study of wine, PG also includes a set of curricular units that aim to provide participants with knowledge related to the history, practices and management of wine tourism. A very complete program where wine and wine tourism are approached by a very experienced faculty / diverse and recognized market players, indispensable figures of the world of wine and gastronomy, namely producers and winemakers, wine makers, distribution companies, sommeliers, chefs, among others.
