Vila Nova de Famalicão 'on fire'

After the success of the first edition of 'Fogo de Chão e Potes no Quintal' in 2020; Renato Cunha, chef and owner of ferrugem restaurant, and his wife, architect Anabela Rodrigues Cunha; have designed a cycle of outdoor cooking experiences, which began in May and run until October. Quality wine will also not miss!

For two years, the couple has been betting on immersive experiences in rurality, joining three spaces, whose functions complement each other: the Ferrugem restaurant and the local accommodation, Casa de Maganhar and Casa Ana Monteiro. The affinity of objectives and the physical proximity of these places, naturally established an integrated cluster, with a purpose of self-sufficiency based on local product, identity, knowledge and culture.

About 200m from Ferrugem, Casa Ana Monteiro is a small family farm, with a popular architecture dwelling, currently destined for tourist exploration. With garden, biological garden and excellent conditions for the creation of capoeira animals, it is a perfect stage for the experiences of 'Fogo de Chão e Potes no Quintal', both for the beauty of the space, as for the privacy that the topography of the land gives it. Cooking in cast iron pots and outdoors, the proposal is based on a sharing exercise, in which the chef shows his gastronomic versatility and passion for origins, invoking comfort dishes that are part of the rural imagination, resulting in delicacies of popular presentation and sophisticated flavor. The addition, '#ircomsedeaopote' has the participation of some invited chefs and several wine producers, being already confirmed: Quinta da Faísca and Adega Casa da Torre, Quinta do Crasto, Quinta das Bágeiras, Quinta de Cottas, Quinta de Ceis, Covela and Quinta de Soalheiro.

Other national producers from various areas are added to the event, with emphasis on 'Infusions with History', official partner of 2022. 7and 21 May were the first sessions, the next ones on June 4, June 18, July 9, July 23, August 6, September 10, September 24, October 8 and October 22. Each edition is limited to 35 people, starts at 17h and closes at 22h. After confirming participation in the event, the client receives at home the ticket, in a case with two gifts, courtesy of 'Infusions with History', official partner of 2022.
