Adega de Torre de Palma launched to the market a new rosé, from the 2019 harvest, prepared with Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Tinta Miúda.
At a time when the quality of rosés in Portugal is already an increasingly consolidated reality, Torre de Palma decided to launch this novelty, elaborated with grapes subject to a soft and fast pressing that gave rise to a softly pink color. Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Tinta Miúda resulted in a wine with a fruity aroma, standing out the aromas of wild fruits, and good minerality. On the palate it is very refreshing. "With this blend, we want to achieve a compromise between the richness and complexity of the grape varieties and the softness and seduction that only a rosé allows to achieve", says the winemaker Duarte de Deus, responsible for the development of the wines of the torre de Palma winery.
Belonging to pharmacists Paulo and Ana Isabel Rebelo, Torre de Palma is a 5-star wine hotel, a member of Design Hotels, and a project of excellence in Alentejo dedicated to the cult of wine. Alongside the hotel project, the entrepreneurs also invested in an internationally awarded wine brand. "With the limited production of 1600 bottles, the new Torre de Palma Rosé 2019 is part of the portfolio that arises from a project carried out with artisanal methods, resulting in a perfect combination for the creation of unique wines, in full harmony with nature", explains Ana Isabel Rebelo, managing director and owner of Torre de Palma.
Torre de Palma Rosé 2019 wine can be found in various wine cellars and online shops as well as in www.torredepalma.com with the recommended pvp of 16 €.
